Welcome to the Department of Civil Engineering

Civil Engineering is the oldest engineering discipline after military engineering. Civil engineering is the application of physical and scientific principles and its history is intricately linked to advances in understanding of physics and mathematics throughout history.

Civil Engineering in Jakir Hossain Institute of Polytechnic was started in the year 2014, with intake of 60 students with well-furnished Laboratories and classrooms. The first batch of students was passed out in the year 2016 with flying colors and many of them have completed the course with distinctions. Our Alumni are working in prestigious construction companies like ACC, L&T, Monte Carlo, JSPL and the recently passed out students are studying in topmost Engineering colleges.

Seminars, guest lectures from academic and industrial experts are organized regularly. Frequent Industry Visits, Site Visits are conducted to bridge the academic curriculum gap with respect to civil engineering subjects.

Welcome to Electronics & Tele-Communication Engineering

The Electronics and Tele-Communication Engineering opens up great career prospects for the students in manufacturing industries and service organizations such as broadcasting, consulting, data communication, entertainment, research and development; and system support.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Jakir Hossain Institute of Polytechnic was established in 2013 with an initial intake of 60 students, supported by well-furnished laboratories and modern classrooms.

Most of our alumni pursue higher education at reputed engineering colleges across the country, demonstrating the strong academic foundation provided by the department. Many others have successfully established their careers in leading national and multinational organizations, contributing effectively in diverse roles across the electronics, communication, and allied technology sectors. The continued success and professional achievements of our alumni stand as a strong testimony to the quality of education, hands-on training, and ethical and professional values imparted at Jakir Hossain Institute of Polytechnic.

Electrical engineering is a broad engineering discipline focused on the study, design, and practical application of equipment, devices, and systems that utilize electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. It serves as the foundational backbone for modern technologies, ranging from localized microchips powering artificial intelligence to massive national power grids.

We at Jakir Hossain Institute of Polytechnic strive hard to provide quality training/knowledge to the students through class room lectures, practicals, online and offline mode lectures, demos, video sessions etc. we provide hands on experience on various topics to individual students. We provide extra classes to those who show special interest in learning new technologies.
